Indie Style at a Bargain Price!

For those of us with a deep, passionate, undying love of glitter nail polish, the surge of Indie polish has been a joy for our nails but a blow to our wallets. Many of us want to possess all of Lynnderella's $15 (almost impossible to obtain) nail polishes, but with quantities limited and a price tag on the high end, what is a glitter lover to do???

I recommend a little recreational layering experiment! I bought Love My Nails All That about a year ago at one of the more sketchy Walmarts in my town for around $1. It took me awhile to find a good mani to layer this over since this polish has so much going on. There are little square glitters that shift from yellow/green to blue, as well as silver holographic squares and purple squares.

The base I used is the ever so awesome Nina Ultra Pro Purple Xing. $3.49 for a CRAZY indigo purple jelly chock-full of silver glitter and holographic pieces. All in all, you get a fun, sparkly glitter fest on your nails, reminiscent of the most expensive of Indie polishes, for under $5. And if you're thinking, "But Tara, there's no BAR glitter!," shut up. :)

What do you think? Would this satisfy your Indie urges?
