Blog sale!

I have accumulated too many things and bills are due! A lot of these have been sitting around for years since I started nursing school. A lot of them I got in swaps so I'm not sure of usage so please observe fill lines! I've literally had my own personal dusty and it's time to purge! There's no real organization to the way I posted them, there's HTF mixed in with ETF, sorry!

Shipping for first bottle is $2.50 and $.50 for each additional bottle until we hit flat rate boxes. Minimum purchase is $10, so please grab a few things!
With pricing, I tried to be fair and undercut what I saw on ebay, you can always make an offer and I reserve the right to counter.

Just respond to this post with which items you're interested in, and your email address, and I'll invoice you through PayPal. My eBay username is animefreak2000 if you'd like to see feedback, or I'm skippylives on MUA.

SpaRitual Howl, Orly Mermaid Tail, and Love and Beauty Black/Fuschia Gradient

More Halloween goodness featuring SpaRitual Howl, Orly Mermaid Tail, and Love and Beauty Black/Fuschia Gradient. Halloween is my favorite, and I have so many polishes that fit a Halloween theme that I have to get as many on my nails as possible at one time.

Long time no see, my friends! Nursing school is hard and very time consuming. Here is my most recent fall themed manicure. The sparkles just make me so happy.

This is China Glaze Harvest Moon, with China Glaze Glitter Goblin, and Lynnderella Glass Houses on top.

It's franken time!

Hello all! I recently got a bug in my bonnet about all the Spectraflair I had left, so I decided to mix up some colors. My first creation I'm gonna show y'all is Peritwinkle.

Ahhh. That's what I'm talking about. My perfect periwinkle with a holographic shimmer. I got disgruntled because I'm always looking for a bright lilac periwinkle and it's so hard, so I experimented until I got something I liked. The recipe for this baby was about a quarter Sally Hansen Pacific Blue, about an 1/8 of Circus Tight Rope, but any neon purple would work. And then a bunch of white to lighten it up. Then I added about 3 tiny scoops of Spectraflair and shook it a bunch.

Weeeellll, I learned quickly that this much creme polish just about obscures all holo particles. So I literally used up about two bottles of clear trying to thin it out. And then you could just baaaarely see the holo. So these pics above are Peritwinkle plus a coat of home-made Spectraflair topcoat.

Ain't she a beaut? This is about 2 mini scoops of Spectraflair in 3/4 full bottle of NYC Grand Central Station. We shall dub thee, Rainbow Road! So there's the scoop. My two newest frankens, got one more to swatch later, a vampy holo.

Zoya Apple w/ Zoya Muse Gradient

Hello all! I haven't posted in forever, I know. But I figured I might start making shorter posts and just maybe get back to doing NOTD's more often.

So for this mani I did three coats of Zoya's new Muse shade. The formula was thick as hell but sparkly and gorgeous. And then I painted on a gradient of Zoya Apple. This mani was full of glass fleck-y goodness. And I've found that my Zoyas tend to wear three times as long with this topcoat I got from Dollar Tree forever ago: Beyond Perfect - Speed Shine. I wish I would have stocked up on more because I get so frustrated when my Zoyas chip the second I put them on. Anywho, this is after two days of wear:

Lush Lacquer Clowning Around

First off, let me just say how much I love Illamasqua Jo'mina. It's a beautiful bright lavender light purple. The formula is heavenly, smooth, and pigmented. I picked it up with my roommate Rach from Stuff I Swatched from Sephora in JC Penney as part of their $7 Illamasqua clearance. I thought it'd be a good base to try out my first neon glitter!
Lush Lacquer Clowning Around is a clear based polish fuuuullll of different colors and sizes of neon matte glitter hexes. I love it. I can't wait to put it over alllll the pastels I have. It's going to be great for the warmer months. This is two coats, dabbed on, over two coats of Jo'mina. Enjoy!

Ciate Trio swatches

Been away awhile again. I wanted to show you all what I've been up to. First up, I got a trio of Ciate polishes from Sephora in JC Penney the other day while I was scavenging for $7 Illamasquas. They caught my eye because they looked like versions of MAC Bad Fairy. One a brighter pink with glitter, one duller duochrome, and one a gold green shimmer with pink glitter. After swatching them, I'm not really thrilled, and they might have to go back. $25 for three mini polishes is pretty bonkers. But I've swatched two of them here for you. The third, Heirloom, was basically like Orly Space Cadet without the teal base, just purpley pink brown.

Ciate Love Letters, two coats over two coats of a Chelsea grey. Pretty duochrome, but basically like Sally Hansen Lava with extra hexes in fuschia and light copper.

And Ciate Antique Broach, one thin coat over Sinful Sugar Rush.

Over all, decent formula, pretty colors, but not worth $25. The only unique aspect of these is the addition of multiple sizes of hex glitters to brighten up the polish. I don't mind the glitters, I was afraid they would get too covered in the shimmer and get that frosty look. But  also didn't think there was enough contrast between the shimmer and glitter. Meh.
